DevOpsDays DC will have its fourth annual confab June 6 and 7 at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, Virginia. DevOps is a shift in IT market to keep up with the increasing pace of change. DevOpsDays DC offers the premiere face-to-face networking opportunity for DevOps practitioners in the DC-VA-MD area.

DevOps (a portmanteau of “development” and “operations”) is a software development method that stresses communication, collaboration (information sharing and web service usage), integration, automation and measurement of cooperation between software developers and other information technology (IT) professionals. DevOps acknowledges the interdependence of software development, quality assurance, and IT operations, and aims to help an organization rapidly produce software products and services and to improve operations performance.

DevOpsDays DC has a distinct focus on speakers from area companies actively implementing DevOps organized into scheduled presentations, ignite talks, and open space conversations.

The fourth annual two-day event is sure to invite many in-depth discussions on how to continuously improve DevOps practices across the private and public sector. Topics include DevOps for AI, GDPR, audible microservices, operations innovation, continuous assurance and many others.
