The 5th edition of Viva Technology will not take place in June 11-13, 2020 as originally planned

March 20, 2020 By admin

Given the evolution and the gravity of the situation regarding COVID-19, the fifth edition of Viva Technology will not take place on June 11-13. The co-Presidents, Maurice Lévy, Pierre Louette and I, are deeply sorry to announce that we are unable to maintain our June event in this context.

The containment measures decreed by the national authorities in France now make it impossible to prepare and organize the event on the dates originally planned. Especially since, as announced, the containment is likely to be extended as has been the case in China and Italy. VivaTech’s priority is to guarantee the health and safety of visitors, partners and staff. We all need to show solidarity and responsibility in the face of this severe health crisis.

We are studying alternative solutions in coordination with our main partners. This complex period pushes us to be even more flexible and creative.

For the time being our thoughts are with all those affected by the pandemic and with all the businesses who are going through this crisis.

We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time and wish you all the best. Please stay safe and look out for those around you.

Thank you for being part of the VivaTech community.

On behalf of the whole team,

Julie Ranty
Managing Director
