CMX Summit 2021 will Focus on the Rise of Community-Driven Business

PALO ALTO, Calif. – Bevy, the only enterprise virtual, hybrid, and in-person event community platform, and CMX, the world’s largest network of professional community builders, announced today that CMX Summit 2021 will take place from August 31–September 2, 2021. CMX Summit 2021 comes at a pivotal time for the community industry. Amid massive changes resulting from the pandemic, it is more critical than ever before for businesses to build communities of customers, employees, and partners. In a 2020 study by CMX, 85% of organizations said that community had a positive impact on their objectives. To ensure community continues to deliver value for organizations, this year’s conference will feature topics that align with the following tracks:

The Rise of Community-Driven Business: The era of community-driven business is here. Community is a key competitive advantage and the future of successful brands. How can organizations leverage community to its fullest potential?
Charting the Community Path: Community is carving out its own distinct department and seat at the C-suite table. Learn how today’s community professionals are paving the road for tomorrow.
Community, Culture, and Innovation: Creator communities. Cryptocurrencies. Diversity, equity, and inclusion. Belonging. Get a front-row seat to see how community is driving innovation across business and culture.

“2020 was a pivotal year for community, with COVID-19 launching it into the mainstream as businesses sought connections with their customers and employees,” said David Spinks, Founder of CMX and VP of Community at Bevy. “CMX Summit 2021 will showcase what we’ve long believed — that community is the future of business, and companies should prepare for this future now.”

CMX Summit 2021 will be hosted on Bevy, the only enterprise community platform for virtual, in-person, and hybrid events. In addition to enabling world-class virtual (and hybrid) connectivity at CMX Summit 2021 with accessibility and engagement-centric features such as localization and networking, Bevy also powers the CMX Connect local events program for year-round connectivity and community integration.

The call for speakers for CMX Summit 2021 will remain open through July 16. Those interested in applying to speak at the event can submit their application here.
