The Humanoids Summit comes to the San Mateo County Event Center on December 1 and 2. It’s the third Silicon Valley edition and the fifth worldwide. Founded by Modar Alaoui and ALM Ventures, the summit started in December 2024 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View and has since added London and Tokyo.
Organizers expect more than 3,000 attendees from 50 countries and over 75 speakers, and they say 62% of the audience is C-level or executive. The format leans on live demonstrations alongside talks on moving humanoids out of labs and into real work in manufacturing and logistics, and the summit has run a Humanoid VC Day track that pairs startups with investors.
Realbotix (TSX-V: XBOT) is making its first Silicon Valley appearance with a humanoid working the floor and talking with attendees. It runs the company’s conversational AI, with knowledge bases customers can tailor, and its patented Vinci Vision system for eye contact and real-time face and voice recognition. CEO Andrew Kiguel will speak and join live demos.
Money is following the robots. Agility Robotics, maker of the Digit humanoid, is heading to Nasdaq through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI and reports more than $300 million in multi-year Digit 5 orders. If you’re building, buying or funding humanoids, San Mateo in early December is where the industry checks how far it has really come.
