IE expo China 2018, Asia’s largest environmental technology show, May 3-5 2018, Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai

IE expo China 2018, an IFAT brand family member and Asia’s largest environmental technology show with a history of 18 years, will kick off on May 3-5, 2018 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. It is expected to attract 1,800 exhibitors in the fields of water, waste, air and soil management. IE expo China 2018, boasting tremendous impacts on the Chinese environmental industry, is an ideal platform for global exhibitors and buyers to explore and expand market in China. To meet increasing demands, three more halls will be added this year to expand the exhibition area to 120,000m2 for water, air, waste treatment, soil remediation, etc. Besides, new segments like “agricultural amelioration” will be featured.

Exhibitors will include leading companies like SUEZ, Veolia, CAMBI, Fluence, Xylem, Huber, WILO, KSB, E+H, Hach, SSI, ANDRITZ, TOMRA, Metso, ERIEZ, BHS, SID, ENSA, as well as renowned domestic Chinese companies and organizations. There will also be 13 overseas pavilions. Nordic countries and Russia will join as pavilions for the first time.

China Environmental Technology Conference will be held concurrently to focus on water and sewage treatment, waste management, site remediation, air pollution control and air purification. It will include about 30 sub-forums featuring solutions for rural sewage treatment system, decentralized wastewater treatment plants, membrane application, low-nitrogen combustion, solid waste and resource recovery, Volatile Organic Compound (VOCs) Testing and Control and Contaminated Site Remediation etc.

In 2018, the organizer will present 2018 Innovative Environmental Technologies Roadshow and Matchmaking to identify and accelerate next-generation technologies in water & sewage treatment, waste management, site remediation, air pollution control and air purification as well as to bring together innovators, investors, partners and end-users.

Besides the event, a dozen activities like salons and workshops have been jointly held by the organizer and industry organizations in Southern and Eastern China in the past 3 years. In 2018, it cooperated with Ministry of Environment and related associations in Southeast Asia to invite more trade buyers and delegations to visit its two shows in Shanghai and Guangzhou. Associations and government bodies are welcomed to contact the organizer for cooperation.
