OFC is the global stage for the optical communication industry to showcase the latest in technology and innovation driving networking designs. Leaders in research, engineering and industry will convene 8-12 March 2020 (exhibits open 10-12) in San Diego, California, U.S.A. to learn about the latest trends and new developments in optical communications.

OFC encompasses the entire ecosystem for optical networking and connectivity, addressing the needs of service and content providers as well as network operators, co-location and cloud providers from around the globe.

From technical sessions and business programming including “Optical Interconnect and Computing for Scaling Machine Learning Systems”, “5G and Re-thinking Access Networks”, “Latest Trends and Opportunities in Hyperscale Data Center” and “Inside the Data Center”, OFC will feature world-renowned speakers from industry-leading organizations, including top network and data center operators.

“Technologies like 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) will all drive innovation throughout enterprise and consumer workloads, and the announcements at OFC are critical to driving an ecosystem of an order of magnitude higher in economic impact,” said Alan Weckel, 650 Group.

Exhibit Floor

OFC’s exhibit floor will feature hundreds of organizations demonstrating the latest innovations necessary to meet bandwidth demands, showcasing innovations in all levels of the infrastructure that impacts the network, including: transceivers, routers, switches and intra- and inter- data center equipment.

Business-Focused Sessions

Over 30 business sessions will cover market trends, new technologies and insight into the future. Experts from global brands and key industry organizations will provide their high-level perspectives on the state of the industry. Three theaters on the show floor feature presentations from COBO, TIP, OpenConfig, Ethernet Alliance, OIF and more.
