Registration Open for AclaraConnect 2019 Conference and Exhibition, May 20-23, 2019 at the Fairmont hotel in Austin, Texas

March 25, 2019 By admin

Aclara, a leading supplier of smart infrastructure solutions (SIS) to electric, gas and water utilities, announces that registration is now open for AclaraConnect 2019, its annual industry conference and exhibition. This highly anticipated event will take place May 20-23, 2019 at the Fairmont hotel in Austin, Texas.

Delegates from electric, water and gas utilities are expected to attend the upcoming AclaraConnect. The conference provides an exceptional opportunity to hear from knowledgeable thought leaders about technological advancements, to share best practices, and to forge valuable connections with colleagues.

The theme for this year’s AclaraConnect is Partners in a Shared Vision, which underscores the need for and power of collaboration to reach a common vision.

“Partnership occurs at all levels – between utilities, solution providers, industry experts and across utility functions,” said Kumi Premathilake, senior vice president, advanced metering infrastructure at Aclara. “AclaraConnect will explore how collaboration will enable utilities to capture new growth opportunities, meet their customers’ evolving needs and create new customer experiences with a vision for the future.”

Partnership is a critical component in staying ahead of changing market dynamics, which include distributed energy, renewable integration and aging infrastructures. These changing dynamics require tightly connected utility assets and systems. Aclara’s utility automation and smart infrastructure solutions for electric, water and gas utilities, combined with a rich partnership ecosystem, will deliver critical connections for transformational change.

“We know there are a lot of challenges ahead and, to build the infrastructure of tomorrow, no one company can solve these alone,” said Allan Connolly, president of Aclara and divisional vice president of Hubbell Power Systems. “Working together, we can create tremendous gains for utilities and society. By bringing all parties together, AclaraConnect provides an ideal setting in which this environment can blossom and flourish.”

The program for AclaraConnect 2019 will include informative case studies, issues-oriented panels and sessions, training opportunities and abundant networking opportunities. This year, all conference activities take place at the beautiful, newly opened Fairmont, Austin and will include a premier networking event for attendees at the Circuit of the Americas.
