Robotics Summit & Expo Returns to Boston in 2019 and Co-Locates with DeviceTalks, June 4-6, 2019, at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA

October 26, 2018 By admin

WTWH Media, LLC, parent company of The Robot Report, today announced the 2nd annual Robotics Summit & Expo will take place June 4-6, 2019, at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA. The Robotics Summit & Expo has already more than doubled the size of the expo floor and will more than double attendance over 2018. In addition, the Robotics Summit & Expo will co-locate with WTWH Media’s DeviceTalks Boston, the premier industry event for medical technology professionals. DeviceTalks attracts engineering and business professionals from a broad range of backgrounds and features an expo floor showcasing leading medical technology companies.

The Robotics Summit is a multifaceted, international event focused on the technical issues involved with the design, development, manufacture and delivery of commercial-class robotics systems. The Robotics Summit brings together the brightest minds in robotics throughout the world to share their expertise on a variety of topics covering four tracks: Technologies, Tools and Platforms; Design and Development; Manufacturability, Production and Distribution; and Workforce Development.

Dan Kara, VP of Robotics at WTWH Media notes, “The success of the inaugural Robotics Summit clearly demonstrated the need for a world class, focused, technical conference about developing commercial robots. The 2019 Robotics Summit & Expo builds on that success. Based on attendee and sponsor feedback, we have expanded its focus and deepened coverage in certain areas. As part of this effort, we are pleased to co-locate with DeviceTalks Boston, a leading medical technologies event where business and technology topics often intersect with those in the robotics sector.”

“We are delighted to co-locate DeviceTalks Boston with the Robotics Summit & Expo, and explore the fast-growing intersection of robotics technology and the practice of medicine,” said DeviceTalks and MassDevice co-founder Brad Perriello, Executive Editor for Life Sciences at WTWH Media. “We enjoyed record attendance at our DeviceTalks series this past year and we are excited to build on that momentum with our colleagues at the Robotics Summit & Expo next summer.”
