The Hackaday Superconference, the world’s ultimate hardware conference, returns to Pasadena, California Nov. 2-4, 2018

October 15, 2018 By admin

This is a can’t-miss event for hardware hackers everywhere, spanning three amazing days of talks and workshops focusing on the cutting edge of hardware creation. As a testament to the caliber of the Hackaday Superconference, the early-bird tickets sold out within three hours of going on sale. General admission tickets are still available for purchase and are expected to sell out any day.

This level of popularity has become common for anything Hackaday, which itself has remained the world’s most popular hardware hacking website for over a decade. Throughout the past 4 years, the Hackaday Superconference has seen an increase in demand and participation that has been met with continual growth.

“We perpetually include first time presenters and fresh, only-seen-here content. It’s been an incredible ride to watch this conference grow in popularity year after year,” said Sophi Kravitz, Director of Product.

This year’s presenters will include Ben Krasnow (Applied Science) and Estefannie (Estefannie Explains it All) alongside speakers covering emerging topics from Diffractive Optics for Augmented Reality to Fabricating Silicon Chips in Your Garage.

Supercon is turning the volume up by adding hands-on workshops throughout the event, including the popular activity of badge hacking, where participants modify their electronic conference badges.

More information about the 2018 Hackaday Superconference can be found on Hackaday.io/superconference or by contacting conference organizers at [email protected].
