The Fiber Broadband Association has announced the opening of the call for Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations for Fiber Connect 2023, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, from August 20-23. The focus of the PoCs is on what fiber will disrupt next and how it can enable markets and communities to innovate, disrupt, and push boundaries. Collaborative projects involving up to three companies, one of which must be a Fiber Broadband Association member, are eligible for submission. The benefits of fiber must be demonstrated as a fundamental enabler of disruption, growth, and potential. The PoC submissions are due on April 30, 2023, and will be evaluated by the Fiber Broadband Association’s Technical and Conference Committees for inclusion in the Fiber Connect 2023 PoC Showcase. The most innovative PoC, the best community impact, and the game changer will receive awards at the event.
