5,000 entrepreneurs, investors and experts will gather for the fifth time in Munich for a three-day event during Oktoberfest.

The theme #MeToo is in the spotlight this year with as godmother of this edition Tarana Burke. The subject of this theme: Diversity at work, and how it helps to unlock entrepreneurial potential. This season’s speakers will talk about their experiences with gender, race and social equality, and look for ways to make the technology sector more inclusive and diverse.

Nico Rosberg
The former driver and world champion Formula 1 (2016) is now an active investor in the automotive sector. In April, Nico Rosberg joined the Formula E all-electric racing series as a long-term shareholder and investor. He has also invested in multiple startups in the automotive and marketing sector such as SpaceX and Lyft.
Dr. Thomas Sedran
Thomas Sedran will be Managing Director of Volkswagen – Commercial Vehicles from 1 September 2018. He joined Volkswagen in 2015 as Vice President in charge of Strategy and in 2017 he was also appointed Secretary General. Previously he was head of Chevrolet Europe, and previously he was a member of the Board of Directors and Interim CEO of Adam Opel AG. He began his career as a management consultant at AlixPartners and Roland Berger.
Silja Pieh
Silja has 17 years of experience in Strategy and Product Management in the automotive industry (in particular at BOSCH & AUDI AG). At Audi, she developed and realized the idea of creating the Autonomous Driving GmbH whose mission is to develop autonomous driving software in urban areas. AID GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG and provides VW Group with this new technological advance.
Florian Reuter
After a degree in commercial engineering and several years as a management consultant, he was recently responsible for the development of startups as director of central research at Siemens AG Munich. He is now applying his many years of
Dr. Carsten Breitfeld
Carsten, Managing Director and co-founder of Byton, is a world-renowned expert in electric mobility with a PhD in mechanical engineering. He spent the last 20 years at BMW, where he headed various technical divisions. In 2010, he was appointed head of BMW’s i8 vehicle program, which gave birth to the revolutionary i8 luxury plug-in hybrid model.
