The Association of the United States Army holds its Annual Meeting and Exposition at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC from October 12 to 14. More than 750 exhibits fill five halls, and the 2026 theme is “America’s Army: The Foundation of the Joint Force.” Registration is free but required.
Senior Army and Department of War leaders give the keynotes, and the professional development forums focus on how the Army is changing its force structure and equipment. Warriors Corner and Innovators Corner run short sessions on the floor all three days. It’s also the Army’s awards stage: the Best Squad Competition winners are named, the NCO and Soldier of the Year are presented, and this year’s Marshall Medal goes to Frank Siller, chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Teledyne FLIR OEM (booth #6013) is showing Prism A-ISR, AI software for uncrewed aircraft that finds, classifies and tracks ground objects in real time by fusing thermal and visible imagery. It runs on the company’s NDAA-compliant Boson+ and Neutrino thermal cameras and on select third-party sensors, using NVIDIA and Qualcomm embedded processors, with built-in processing for haze, noise and unstable footage. Drone payloads sold on their software as much as their sensors are a big part of where this floor is heading.
Badges come with a digital access pass, and some seated events need a separate reservation. For anyone selling into the Army, these three days in DC set the tone for the year ahead.
