Top tech investors, mentors and influencers gathered this past week in Boston for Innovate Celebrate, a three-day global conference where the biggest names in tech intersect with the world’s most cutting-edge startups. Co-hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and Established (formerly TechCo) Innovate Celebrate concluded today at the Revere Hotel in Boston.
The most promising and innovative startups from around the world came together at Innovate Celebrate to compete for the Startup of the Year title. The Startup of the Year competition brings together 100 startups, which are narrowed down to five semifinalists over the course of Innovate Celebrate. Health-focused startup Aperiomics received the Startup of the Year award and first runner-up WeatherCheck earned a free booth at CES® 2019’s Eureka Park, the biggest startup event on the planet.
“Innovate Celebrate was an astounding success, with the top tech brands joining innovative startups to preview into our industry’s promising future,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. “The connections made this week will stimulate industry growth, promote innovation and drive technology that will change our lives.”
The conference included speakers and thought leaders such as David Rose, VP of Vision Technology, Warby Parker; Kira Blackwell, Program Executive, NASA iTech; Colin Angle, Chairman, CEO and Founder, iRobot; and Carolyn Rodz, Founder and CEO, Alice. Innovate Celebrate also hosted Digital Fight Club for the first time on the east coast.
