Knowledge Management Institute to Host Annual “KM Showcase” April 4-5, 2019, Westin Arlington (Arlington, VA)

October 2, 2018 By admin

The Knowledge Management Institute is hosting their annual “KM Showcase” April 4-5, at the Westin in Arlington, VA, bringing together Knowledge Management and IT professionals representing public and private sectors, military, and NGOs. KMI Partner, Enterprise Knowledge, is the Premier Sponsor for the event.

Now in its fourth year, the Showcase is expanding to a two-day, two-track format in order to delve deeper into comprehensive and practical Knowledge Management practices and case studies. The first track of the conference will feature global experts in KM exploring best practices and applied methodologies, with the second track focused on real-world case studies and KM success stories.

“The KM Showcase has developed a bit of a following these past few years,” says Eric Weidner, VP of Business Development at KM Institute, “but we’re ready to take this to the next level in April, by expanding to two days and adding more talented speakers and consultants – giving our local and national audience exactly what we believe they need.”

Weidner adds: “We purposely kept the pricing low so this would be a ‘no-brainer’ for any KM Practitioner, and it’s a quite a deal considering the amount of content we have in store and the practical takeaways our audience will glean from the show.”

Zach Wahl, CEO of Enterprise Knowledge will be chairing the Showcase. Wahl noted, “The focus of this Showcase will be on practical, value-focused approaches and case studies. Our goal is to convene a group of expert practitioners that can arm attendees with the concrete ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ of KM.”

The KM Showcase is just $50 for Government, Military, NGOs and Non-Profits, and just $495 for Industry, making this an extremely low-cost 2-day conference, and will include sponsor exhibits, prizes, and various networking opportunities.

Guests from out of town are encouraged to stay at the Westin Arlington and use the KM Showcase discounted room rate, available at the website.
