Motorola Solutions Kicks Off Annual Software User Conference

November 13, 2018 By admin

Summit 2018 brings together customers using solutions from Motorola Solutions’ end-to-end command center software portfolio

Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) welcomed over 1,200 public safety professionals from more than 400 agencies in the United States and Canada to the company’s annual software user conference, Summit 2018. The four-day conference is designed to help customers maximize their software investment through hands-on instruction, technical training and the chance to collaborate with public safety professionals from across the country.

Throughout the week, Summit 2018 will showcase Motorola Solutions’ command center software suite, CommandCentral, an end-to-end, integrated solution that simplifies public safety workflows, from the initial intake of an emergency call to the closing of a case. The suite provides teams with a unified, intuitive experience while leveraging technology to help increase safety for agencies and the communities they serve.

In his opening keynote to conference attendees, Andrew Sinclair, corporate vice president and general manager of Motorola Solutions Software Enterprise, emphasized customer partnership and a shared commitment to public safety as drivers for digital transformation and the use of technology to fuel better outcomes. “As your trusted partner, we’re investing in the products and solutions you rely on every day,” said Sinclair. “We will continue to listen and work with you as we drive digital transformation in public safety, working together to serve others, build stronger communities, and save lives.”

With more than 250 unique classes, in-depth certifications and hands-on labs, the conference is designed for every role within a public safety agency. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and share best practices with other public safety professionals as well as have one-on-one discussions with Motorola Solutions product experts.

The conference opened with a demonstration of how a multi-collision accident on a busy highway is handled from call to case closure with an integrated, end-to-end software suite maximized to help the responding agency work more effectively and efficiently.

Throughout the week, attendees will see product demonstrations and learn about the benefits of Motorola Solutions’ new relationship with Microsoft for Azure Government Cloud services and the exclusive partnership with LexisNexis for extensive access to investigative and analytical data.
