UBM China to Host “Interop & Cloud Connect China 2018” in Ningbo, December 12 – 14, 2018

To implement the strategy of “Made in China 2025” and “The State Council’s Guidance on Promoting ‘Internet + Action'”, UBM China, with solid support from the Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, will hold Interop & Cloud Connect China 2018 – Ningbo Event at Pan Pacific Ningbo on December 12 – 14, 2018.

Originally introduced to the Chinese market in 2013, UBM Cloud Connect China came in the form of conferences and an expo and was supervised by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization. Projected to be a great comprehensive communication platform gathering together cloud suppliers, developers and end users, it assembled ten internationally well-known cloud computing enterprises and thousands of professionals to share information about applications of cloud computing in popular fields and the latest development trends.

Interop & Cloud Connect China 2018 – Ningbo Event represents a new beginning. Ningbo of Zhejiang province in China has been titled the first Model City implementing the strategy of “Made in China 2025” as it is an important advanced manufacturing base on the eastern seaboard of China. The event will be the combination of various forums and specialties including the keynote, tech sessions, an expo, matchmaking, and site tours. The conference agenda and first batch of speakers have been announced.

The confirmed speakers are: York Shen, the co-chair of Shanghai Chapter, Cloud Security Alliance; Liang Wang, product director of 360 cloud security division; Larry Zhang, senior director of systems engineering in Greater China, F5 Networks Inc.; Weimin Lu, Founder & CEO in Anchora; Song Chen, general manager of Intelligent cognitive product team, Ping An Technology; Hanlong Chen, VP of Sucheon (Xiamen) Technology Co., Ltd.

Many experts and professionals in the IT industry and downstream industries will attend the grand event including CEOs, CIOs, and CTOs from relevant industry associations, overseas and domestic IT enterprises and end-user companies, and government representatives. They will share experiences and analysis of applications of cloud computing, big data and AI in various industries such as manufacturing, smart city, finance and trade, textiles and garments, and home appliances.
