Velocity 2019, the premier event for transportation and logistics professionals, taking place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on May 5-7, 2019

MercuryGate International, Inc., a leading independent provider of SaaS-based transportation management system (TMS) solutions, announced today two industry-leading keynotes at Velocity 2019 – the premier event for transportation and logistics professionals, taking place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on May 5-7, 2019.

Consistent with the theme of “Innovate today. Own tomorrow.,” Velocity 2019 will feature technology-futurist Jack Shaw and logistics industry expert Adrian Gonzalez as keynote speakers.

Jack Shaw will deliver an informative and powerful message about technology’s digital future, “The Blockchain Transformation – Adapting to Transportation’s New Digital Future.” Mr. Shaw is Co-Founder and Executive Director of the American Blockchain Council. As such, he is a leading expert on the strategic business implications of blockchain technology who has spoken and consulted on blockchain around the world.

Adrian Gonzalez, President at Adelante SCM, will present “Lessons from the Disrupted: A Practical Guide to Innovation.” Mr. Gonzalez has over 18 years of logistics research experience and is a recognized industry expert and LinkedIn Influencer whose thoughts and analyses are valued by clients (leading manufacturers, retailers, logistics service providers, and technology companies) and followed by thousands of readers online and on social media sites.

At the conference, around 400 delegates across retail, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and logistics industries will gather to define transportation strategies and how they create competitive advantages for businesses.
