The eighth Bloomberg New Economy Forum runs October 13 to 15 in New Delhi. It’s the first time the forum has come to India, and the timing marks Bloomberg’s 30 years in the country.
This is a small, invitation-only event: about 500 leaders from government, finance and business. The 2026 theme is A World in Play: Defining the New Levers of Power. In practice that means technology, energy, critical minerals and who controls the financial system.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to take part, along with central bank governors, sovereign investors and Fortune 100 CEOs. Gina Raimondo and Mario Draghi are the advisory co-chairs. Hitachi Energy, HSBC, Hyundai and Tata Sons are founding partners.
Holding it in Delhi is a statement. India is the big economy everyone wants exposure to, and this forum puts its leaders across the table from the money.
