The Electrical Energy Storage Applications and Technologies – EESAT 2013 conference opens today to discuss and review research and development on electrical energy storage applications and technologies, especially as they relate to the electricity grid. The conference runs Sunday, Oct. 20, through Wednesday, Oct. 23 at San Diego, California. Hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Electricity Storage Association and Sandia National Laboratories, this biennial gathering brings together experts in electrical energy storage technologies, especially as they relate to electrical grid systems.
