Hong Kong FinTech Week and StartmeupHK merge into one event this year, running November 2 to 6. The main conference is at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on November 2 and 3, with events across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area for the rest of the week.
InvestHK expects more than 45,000 attendees from over 120 economies, with more than 1,000 speakers and 800 exhibitors. Topics cover Web3 and crypto, AI, digital banking, capital markets, wealth tech, regtech and sustainable finance.
The bigger story is Hong Kong’s pitch as a connector between mainland China and global markets. Regulators often use FinTech Week to announce crypto and stablecoin policy, so the official keynotes matter more than usual.
If your thesis touches digital assets in Asia or capital flows in and out of China, this is a week to watch closely.
